Window Cleaning in Guilderland

We clean the outside of your windows by hand with a brush and squeegee, and reach the upper panes with a water-fed pole. Pollen, road dust and hard-water spots come off, and the glass dries clear. Call for a free quote over the phone.

What our window cleaning covers

We clean the exterior glass on every side of the house. Ground-floor windows get scrubbed and squeegeed by hand. Upper panes get a water-fed pole with a soft brush, so we don't need to lean ladders on your siding for every window.

Dirty glass dulls the whole front of a house. Pollen in spring, dust and spider webs in summer and salt film after winter all build up on the outside. A good cleaning lets more light in and makes the house look cared for from the street.

We wipe the frames and sills as we go and check for torn screens or failed seals. If we see something, we tell you, so you can decide what to do about it.

What a window cleaning includes

A roofline walk and layout
We look at every run of eave, peak and corner. We plan where the track goes so it follows clean lines over your windows and doors.
Track matched to your trim
The track is chosen to blend with your fascia or gutters. In daylight most people walk past it and never notice it is there.
Power from an outdoor outlet
We plan the power feed so the controller sits in a protected spot. We keep wiring tight and tidy along the home exterior.
App setup and a quick lesson
Before we leave, we set up the app on your phone. We show you how to pick colors, set schedules and save a few looks for holidays or game nights.
Cleanup on the way out
We pick up clips, packaging and cut ends. Your beds and walkways should look the way they did when we arrived.

Signs permanent lighting fits better than another fix

  • The ladder comes out every November

If you climb up each fall to hang strings and again in January to take them down, that time adds up. Permanent lighting stays put.

  • Strings keep failing

Cheap holiday sets lose bulbs, crack in the cold and tangle in storage. Most people end up buying new ones every couple of years.

  • The front looks dark at night

Nice windows and siding disappear after sunset if nothing lights them. Roofline lights bring the shape of the house back.

  • Clips are chewing up your gutters

Plastic clips pulled on and off every year can bend gutter lips and scuff trim. A fixed track ends that cycle.

  • You want lights more than one month a year

Warm white on a normal evening, colors for a birthday, orange in October. One system covers all of it from your phone.

How the job goes

  1. 1

    Talk it through by phone

You call, we ask about the house and what you want the lights to do. We set a time to look at the roofline.

  2. 2

    Measure and quote

We measure the runs, check the power and look at the condition of the fascia. You get a free quote that lists what is included.

  3. 3

    Install day

We set ladders carefully, mount the track and run the lights. Most single homes are done in a day, though bigger rooflines can take longer.

  4. 4

    Test and hand off

We light it up, fix any dim spots and set up your app. Then we clean up and you are good to go.

What moves the price

Every house is different, so we don't quote a number before we see it. The price comes down to how much roofline there is and how hard it is to reach. We also show you how the cost compares with years of buying and hanging seasonal lights, so you can judge it over time, not just on day one.

Length of roofline
More feet of eave and peak means more track and more lights. This is the biggest driver.
Height and pitch
A two-story house or a steep roof takes more setup and care. That adds time on install day.
Corners and peaks
A simple ranch with long straight runs goes faster than a house with many gables, dormers and turns.
Power location
If an outdoor outlet sits near where the run starts, things are easy. A longer power run adds some work.

Questions people ask us

Something not covered here? (518) 900-7456

Do you clean the inside of the windows too?

Our work is on the outside of the house. Ask on the call and we'll tell you plainly what we can and can't do for your home.

Will the track get in the way of my windows?

No. The track mounts up under the roof edge, along the fascia or gutter line. It sits well above your windows and stays out of the way.

Do the lights need much upkeep?

Very little. The LEDs sit inside the track, out of most of the weather. A quick look each spring to check for loose spots is usually all it takes.

Can I use them on normal nights, not just holidays?

Yes, and most people do. A soft warm white on a timer gives the house curb appeal every evening. You switch to colors in the app whenever you like.

How does the cost compare with regular holiday lights?

Up front, permanent lighting costs more than a box of strings. Over several years you stop replacing broken sets and stop losing weekends on a ladder. We lay that out on the call so you can decide with real numbers.
