Permanent Lighting for Guilderland and the Capital Region
Our crew mounts low-profile LED track along the edge of your roof, and you control the lights from your phone. The same setup handles holidays, team colors and a soft glow by the front door. No more buying new strands or climbing ladders every fall.

Where We Install
We're based in Guilderland and do a lot of our work close to home, in Westmere, Roessleville, Voorheesville and New Scotland. Those are short drives for us. That makes it easy to come out, walk your roofline, take measurements and talk through what makes sense for your house.
We also cover Albany, Colonie, Schenectady, Rotterdam, Niskayuna and Scotia. If your town isn't on this list, call anyway. If it's a reasonable drive, we'll tell you. If it isn't, we'll say that too, so you're not left waiting on a visit that won't happen.

What Homes Around Here Have in Common
- Housing age and rooflines
- Around here you see older colonials and capes next to newer homes with lots of gables and peaks. Older houses often have wood fascia with many coats of paint, so we check for soft spots before we mount any track. A complex roofline takes more track and more cuts, and that's one of the main things that moves the price.
- Winter and freeze-thaw
- Capital Region winters bring heavy snow, ice and plenty of freeze-thaw. The track sits tight to the fascia or under the gutter edge, out of the way of roof rakes and sliding snow. The lights stay up all year. No taking strands down in March and no wet ladder work in December.
- Power and outlets
- Most systems run off a standard exterior outlet near the roofline, often in a soffit or the garage. Plenty of homes don't have one in the right spot. We'll tell you up front if you'll need an electrician to add one, so it's part of the plan and not a surprise on install day.
- HOA and town rules
- Rules for exterior changes vary from town to town, and some neighborhoods have an HOA that wants to see plans first. We ask about both before we schedule. If your HOA needs details, we can give you photos and product information to send along.
- Cost now versus cost later
- Seasonal strands are cheap the first year, then bulbs fail and plastic clips crack in the cold. Permanent LED lighting costs more on day one, but it draws little power and stays put. We'll lay out both so you can compare what you'd spend over several winters.
